What would the reaction have been to D’Anton Lynn’s defensive call if Nebraska quarterback TJ Lateef did not fumble the snap on this play?

Nebraska coach Matt Rhule said the Cornhuskers had a touchdown if Lateef merely completed the short screen pass that was called to wide receiver Jacory Barney (No. 2).

Instead, Nebraska settled for a field goal.

  4. I hope that Lynn chooses to play the aggressive man defense that he used in the second half against Nebraska on Friday. Yes, they were facing a backup QB, but why not try that since their soft zone gets burned often enough.

    Northwestern’s leading WR is Griffin Wilde, he runs an 11.1 100 meters, 4.6 40, so he is not a total burner.

    2. My favorite Biden lie was in a 2020 and then 2024 commencement address. He claimed that he was offered a Naval Academy appointment in 1965 but turned it down because he wanted to play college football and knew that he would never see the field if he had to compete against Roger Staubach. First, Biden went to undergraduate college at Delaware from 1961 to 1965. The Naval Academy does not offer graduate level appointments. Second, Roger Staubach’s college career ended in 1964 when he won the Heisman trophy.
