Who remembers this comment from Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz in Dec., 2023?

“There’s a school on the West Coast right now that’s going to re-commit to defense. You know, gave up 42 to Tulane last year in a bowl game. At a place where Ronnie Lott played. Now they’re going to think about defense. That was the first we thought about 25 years ago.”

Ferentz was talking about how he valued wins over stats. But I’m sure this quote will be used aroun USC this week.

  • USC gave seven different players game balls after the Northwestern game. That’s a Clay Helton-like move.
  • When have you ever seen Lincoln Riley do anything like this? At Washington, interacting with students, boosters, fans is considered part of the job.

        Yesterday Gabby admitted that he had no intention of appearing for a boxing match. “Nobody fights over what is said on a blog.” He was incredulous that anyone should ask for an apology. (Posting fraudulently as steveg) In Gabby’s world, men are not the protectors and providers for their families. You can insult their wives, daughters, and mothers with impunity.

        He has has no code of honor and therefore believes that nobody else should live by one.

        Although he admits that he will not back up his words with a boxing match, he has now dishonesty posted at least 10 times the exact same response about how he showed up at the gym in Miami. Is this suppose to be amusing?
