It’s not the stupid thing that gripes me –it’s the outbursts, the constant accusations of fraud, deceit and lies, the name calling, the appropriation of other posters’ names, the attacking people for where they ate dinner, where they went to school, what kind of music they like, what they think about politics, what they like about football, etc., etc.

  3. It would be a huge boost for the program, the best win since USC-ND in 2022, when Caleb locked in the Heisman.

    USC could really use Waymo as an RB to take the pressure of the passing game and King Miller.

    Things went downhill after that…way downhill.

  7. Our signature win was against Michigan. We dominated both lines of scrimmage and blew them out. Michigan is a talented team. Currently 8-2 and ranked #18. If we beat Oregon, Michigan, Iowa, and Nebraska, and finish 10-2, we belong in the playoffs. Scott ignores the Michigan win when discussing the accomplishments of this team.

        Only saying it because all of the “football experts” on TV & radio are saying if we beat Oregon, we deserve to be in the playoffs.

        Of course, they are ASSuming we’ll beat SUCLA, which we should never do. We’ve seen it too many times, when they are sub par and we are at least somewhat decent and they bite us on the butt!

  8. Versus Oregon this Saturday, if we play at our best, with our fielded level of talent, there is no way we lose this game. If we don’t play at our best, then the unsavory alternative becomes far more likely. LR can definitely help out his cause at Autzen by keeping his focus on staying engaged with Maiava to ensure he remains calm, cool, and collected in that hostile environment, which is pretty much exactly what he did NOT do in the loss at ND. The look in Maiava’s eyes in the ND game were those of wild panic and exigency, not of a calm and laser focus that they needed to be to win. And LR was nowhere to be found to talk him down and get Maiava’s head into that zone. That’s what a real HC would have done. But what LR did do is call a bone-headed trick play at the worst possible time, which proves you don’t win games by trickery that should be won with sound fundamentals compounded throughout the game. So in a sense, if LR acts like a leader and keeps the team on point and grounded, if he even can be that way, and not simply bury his nose in a playcard all game as he usually does with his backrub assistant in tow, then that would set us up nicely for a victory formation at the game’s end. It can be done, it just needs to be done.

    Another prediction though. Oregon is a run first team, and if USC’s D can bottle up their running game, and force the quacks to pass, that will be it. Might be a Captain Obvious quote, but if USC gains at least 30 more yards on the ground than Oregon, the Trojans will win this game…
