You mean to tell me that allowing 1,300 yards in offense to Illinois, Notre Dame and Oregon did not get D’Anton Lynn on this list for the Broyles Award, which goes to the nation’s top assistant coach.

Not going to happen, but wouldn’t that be something if Mississippi wins the title

Yes, John –it would be something.
[btw, the rumor is: Lane only went to LSU so he could wear nylons without pants during Mardi Gras]….

Kiffin will find it very very difficult to win a National Championship, period. So if LSU is looking at it as “National Championship or bust,” there will be a lot of busts coming up for ol’ Kiff

on the Up Side, wolfman has promised his long awaited and much feared SC Tell-All book will be written after the conclusion of the Riley administration.
it staggers the mind to comprehend the skeletons and scandals wolfman has scribbled into his green notebook.
this may set the table for a titanic clash between the SC-linked Illuminati and the forces of the Classy Cadre. there are some people who WILL try to stop the publication of this epic tome.

Sorry Charlie! Troy Aikman done with giving to UCLA’s NIL:
https://www.on3.com/nil/news/troy-aikman-done-with-nil-after-giving-money-to-ucla-player-that-left-after-a-year/
And there is still the matter of the $219.5 million athletics dept deficit – what will the gutties do about that?

I sense some, sarcasm, yes I believe that is the term, in the D’Anton Lynn Broyles Award commentary. But to be perfectly clear, D’Anton Lynn did not perform anywhere near that level for consideration this season.
Surprisingly, or not, USC under D’Anton Lynn this year finished right at 47th out of 134 D1 CFB teams for defense in YPG at 348.8 yards allowed, YPP at 5.57 yards allowed, and also in TDs at 35 allowed over the regular season. D’Anton would need to shave 135.3 yards per game and 1.61 yards per play off the average while giving up 25 fewer TDs to equal Ohio State at 213.5, 3.94, and 10 respectively. But take heart, because Massachusetts gave up 62 TDs over the season, Sam Houston gave up 483.5 YPG, and Rutgers gave up 7.6 YPP to anchor all of CFB for dead last in those categories.

KAM: And by coincidence , UMass and Sam Houston are candidates to replace Notre Dame on the schedule this next season!

USC plays the toughest schedule next year – Fresno St. 1st game 5th Sept
rest no dates – just locations
@ IN, @ PA St., @ Rutgers, @ Ucla @ WI
MD, OH St., OR, WA
as to ‘the princess’ curiously no ‘site/city’ noted per http://www.fbschedules.com
All need to stand with Cohen, Riley and surprisingly Bill Plaschke in standing fast against the biggest con in amateur sports and their mob of ‘deadhead’ fans that wander the earth as addicts of ‘Miss Havisham’ who just celebrated her 37th year of rejection’

WHAT I THOUGHT WAS UNFAIR WAS MIAMI JUMPING NOTRE DAME IN THE FINALL WEEK WHEN NEITHER ONE PLAYED !!!!!!!!

HI GEORGE! ACCORDING TO PLAYOFF RULE #7983.19 (c): THERE ARE GAME WEEKENDS & NON GAME WEEKENDS. NEITHER IS SUPERIOR TO THE OTHER. THE FORMULA FOR CALCULATING THE STRENGTH OF A TEAM DURING A NON GAME WEEKEND IS EQUAL TO THE AMOUNT OF TRAIN TRACKS IN THE STATE IN WHICH IT IS LOCATED MULTIPLIED BY THEIR RECORD DURING GAME WEEKENDS.”

KAM: USC beat Alabama head to head and yet Alabama passed them in the 1978 UPI national championship poll.
DON: We were told that was “early in the season” so it shouldn’t be held against them.
