Eric Musselman had quite a bit of news after yesterday’s victory over Washington State. Musselman said Rodney Rice might be out for the season.
Rice, who has a shoulder injury, averaged 20.3 points and 6.0 assists this season. He also was paid around $3 million to come to USC.
Musselman also said he would like to add a player at the semester break, which would probably mean a junior-college player. That is a highly unusual move. But the way Musselman has turned over the roster his first two years, probably not too surprising.
And he said freshman Alijah Arenas would return to practice next week in a non-contact capacity.
- USC linebacker Eric Gentry has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl.
- Makai Lemon and Bishop Fitzgerald were named to the Walter Camp All-American football team.
- Former USC defensive tackle Bear Alexander announced he will return to Oregon next season.
