Who Is Watching Indiana-Miami?

Curt Cignetti: National title in Year 2

Kalen DeBoer: National title game in Year 2

Lincoln Riley defenders: But, but, but

  • Who’s watching Indiana-Miami? It’s hard with Chris Fowler andKirk Herbstreit. They are not the No. 1 broadcast?ing team in college football.

Where is Sean McDonough?

Indiana leads 10-0 at halftime. Can Miami come back? Nick Saban and Marcus Freeman picked the Hurricanes.

  1. I believe that our offense could score on these guys. Makai Lemon would make a play. Maybe 20 points or slightly more. But with our defense, it would be a boat race. We would lose by 3 touchdowns.

    1. I’ve tried to say it 3 x —- let’s see if the 4th time is the charm: I’d rather beat Ohio State in the Coliseum [and I think that’s more likely]….

      1. KAM: Search Assist

USC is likely to revive its old rivalry with Stanford to fill the gap left by the paused Notre Dame game.

DON: Riley Coyote will love an easy win over a 4-8 Stanford program that is in shambles and enjoy a 45 minute plane ride in the same time zone to the Bay Area every 2 years.

  2. I just finished watching an incredible game coached by a coach that Lincoln Riley can not compare to. Curt Cignetti is the man! Kudos to Indiana!

        …but…

        …since you brought it up….

      2. Miami even with all their blue chip players they still couldn’t dominate Indiana. Indiana played Miami’s ball control game possessing the ball almost 15 minutes more than Miami. Miami never led during the whole game. I wish we had a coach like Cignetti. On paper Miami should have dominated Indiana

      3. KAM: In the playoffs every team instructed their DBs to hold the receivers on every pass pattern.

DON: The toady ESPN announcer said the refs in the championship game “were letting them play”!

      2. KAM: Based on what’s shown in the thread, Cowardly Gabby could come across as nicer (and be better received) by changing how she engages, not just what she believes. Some practical ways:

        1. Drop the insults and name-calling
Personal attacks, slurs, violent threats, doxxing posters, naming their home address and wife’s name and mocking language instantly shut down any chance of goodwill. Even people who might agree with her points will tune out once it turns hostile.

        2. Respond to ideas, not people
Instead of attacking someone’s character (“meet me in Barstow,” etc.), focus on the argument itself. For example: criticize a policy, statistic, or sports take—without attacking the person posting it.

        3. Stop re-litigating old posts
Digging up months-old comments about fighting posters in Barstow  to shame others keeps conflict alive. Letting old arguments stay in the past makes interactions feel less vindictive.

        4. Tone down repetition and spamming
Posting the same accusations or threats of violence, threatening to show up at their place of residence  or using hundreds of aliases over and over reads as harassment, not debate. Fewer, calmer posts would go a long way.

        5. Change your tone

A neutral or friendly tone matters more than “winning.” Even disagreeing politely (“We’ll have to agree to disagree” without threatening to attack them) changes how people perceive you.

        6. Model the behavior you want back
If  Cowardly Gabby wants respect, she has to show it first. Calm, concise, and civil posts tend to de-escalate others—even in toxic threads.

        DON:

        Bottom line:
Cowardly Gabby doesn’t need to change her opinions to be nicer—just her delivery. Less hostility, more restraint, less animal d e f e ca t i o n videos, less doxxing and stalking and insulting the wives of posters here  and a focus on discussion instead of domination would make her far more welcome.

  3. DON: If Beck had put a little more distance on his interception it appeared Miami would have won that game

KAM: What do you call it in sports, the “Win-Lose illusion”

    1. John –It wasn’t an illusion. Beck underthrew the pass. On those last minute Hail Mary’s it’s better to overthrow than underthrow. Let your guy fight for it…. going in the direction he should be going….

    1. KAM: Maybe you shouldn’t lie so much, Cowardly Sparrow Gabby.

America’s trade deficit plunges by half to the smallest in nearly 2 decades.

      – Chinese imports crashed

      – American exports grew

      – Tariff inflation was absorbed by exporters

      – Trillions of investment incoming Instead of importing Chinese junk we’re importing factories.

DON: Inflation was low this year you moron libtard liar.

      2. According to a report by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, American consumers are paying the vast majority of tariffs, with the study finding that 96% of tariff costs are borne by Americans while foreign exporters pay only 4%.

      3. Inflation is down only .3% since TACO took office, and all the trillions in foreign investments were negotiated by the previous administration
