It’s A USC Super Bowl!

The USC Seahawks won in style tonight.

The cherry on top was when Uchenna Nwosu scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery.

So here’s a story on him: When Ed Orgeron was the interim coach following the firing of Lane Kiffin, the recruiting class fell apart. Orgeron decided to offer a scholarship to Nwosu.

There was resistance from Pat Haden and J.K. McKay about whether Nwosu was good enough to go to USC. Orgeron stuck to his guns and took Nwosu.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Orgeron also recruited Sam Darnold and Leonard Williams.

  1. Scott, thanks for the info about Ed Orgeron and the Seahawk Trojans. It was great to see our Trojan alums finally get the big prize and be instrumental in the win, especially Sam. He played a great, controlled game. I hope that the new Trojan defensive staff was watching the game…we know that Patterson was watching because he is a film junkie. Both Indiana and the Seahawks had fantastic defenses….just copy them. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

    1. KAM: Fey corrupt DEI loving Pat Haden and his side kick J.K. McKay stupidly thought Ed wasn’t Bel Air Country Club enough to coach football at USC.

DON: Orgeron stuck to his guns and won a NC at LSU while SC imploded under Drunk Sark and Hugs.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

    1. KAM: If this Super Bowl halftime show was any worse it would be an episode of Starfleet Academy.

DON: It was a show only a preachy libtard like Cowardly Gabby could love.

      1. …and that’s EXACTLY why MSNBC loved it— “A show of shows! A celebration —not of America —but of the Americas!”

You go to great lengths to appear to be an intellectual when instead you consistently make some of the dumbest comments on this site. On the previous post, you stupidly tried to equally attribute the left’s words and actions to the political right. People like you are the problem when you refuse to acknowledge reality and instead act as some pseudo-intellectual who is above the fray. Equal is from the Latin “Aequalis” meaning same as, level, even. It does not mean disproportionate or approximate as you are suggesting. In fact, it means the exact opposite. Of course, being a pseudo-intellectual, you will now obfuscate and deflect claiming that you misspoke or I have misinterpreted your nonsense. And if you are questioning the assassin’s political leanings, then why did you even write “Libs or Repubs” in your original comment since you are apparently now asserting that politics may not even be a motivation? Of course, you know the person’s political leanings but it doesn’t fit with your desired belief that Republicans and conservatives are to blame for divisiveness and political violence. Or are you so daft to think that someone who agreed with Charlie Kirk would want to kill him? You previously dismissed and excused the unhinged individual on this site who advocated for a political assassination. You are a weak person with average intelligence. You are not an intellectual and you possess no moral superiority despite your continuous efforts to appear to do so.

      1. Plow — In my humble opinion John {as opposed to Sybil] isn’t weak or average. He is, however, reliant on globalist propaganda —aimed at scuttling the Constitution, ending America’s independence as a nation state. Those who hate our strength as a nation are winning many smart, over-accepting voters over by smiling and being polite [but –what they really want —is a system that ignores due process, , the contract clause, the commerce clause and true equal protection in favor of classic Marxism].

      2. MG: The guy goes out of his way to make snide remarks. Yesterday, he said MAGA supporters were “extremists” without identifying what policy he views as extreme. This was followed by “but try explaining that to them” when he never explains his positions. He then accuses others of being condescending in their politics when he is the most condescending person on the blog. Today, he suggests MAGA supporters are self righteous and consistently offering opinions without supporting facts. This statement is pure projection and I felt compelled to respond to it. Suffice it to say I disagree with you about Sparrow. Fight on nailed it.

No. No. No. He’s just a guy who calls our opinions ‘opinions’…and his opinions ‘facts.’ That’s all…

  4. Why were the geniuses who vote for NFL MVP hyping Maye against Stafford, when it is obvious that Darnold was the MVP this year, QB of the best team in the league. Dan, Class of 1962

  5. I am not saying that the Rams were a bad team or that Stafford did not have a great year, but looking at this year, the Seahawks were the better team so Sam should get credit for leading them to the championship. He didn’t have the built in publicity department at ESPN that Maye and Stafford had. East coast bias? Dan, Class of 1962
