A Crazy USC Fact Of Day

Amon-Ra St. Brown and Solomon Tuliaupupu were in the same class at Mater Dei and attended USC together.

St. Brown just completed his fifth season in the NFL an Tuliaupupu is about to enter his ninth season of college.

If Tuliaupupu made an NFL team, he would be a rookie during St. Brown’s seventh NFL season.

  1. Why is Tuli still playing football? How many downs has he played in eight years? Does he have a doctorate? What is his major? Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

    1. I recall at one point he wanted to go into ministry which makes his endless pursuit of football even more bewildering. I don’t think USC or Wyoming offer degrees in Theology and that career would require extensive academic training.

  2. KAM: Academic Achievements

Despite the challenges on the field, Tuliaupupu has leveraged his time in college to earn multiple degrees:

Currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in entrepreneurship at the University of Montana.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from USC’s Marshall School of Business.

Master’s Degree in Project Management from USC.

    DON: He’s a great Trojan STUDENT-athlete, a throwback to the pre-mercenary days.

  3. Call me old-fashioned, but perhaps we should cap the age of college athletes at 23 or 24 unless the circumstances are obvious (e.g. religious mission or military service or injuries, etc.) significantly delay college.
