Time For A Hype Machine Favorite To Get Started

If it’s the offseason, it’s time for Joel Klatt to hype up USC.

Actually, he’s equally happy to do it in the offseason and during the season. Like clockwork.

So here he is doing what he does best:

      1. Everything changes if we beat Oregon and Ohio State. Everything turns to crap if we lose to either one.

    1. KAM: Joel Klatt Names Big Ten Contender USC He Is ‘Bullish On’ In 2024

DON:  Klatt labeled the 2025 USC Trojans “one of the more underrated teams in the country,” praising both Lincoln Riley’s offensive blueprint and Jayden Maiava’s hot start at quarterback.

  1. KAM: USC’s hopes of making the men’s basketball NCAA Tournament were dashed after their humiliating 101-65 loss at home to No. 10 Illinois, marking their second consecutive defeat and leaving them with a 0-4 record against ranked teams this season.

DON: The 11th place Trojans desperately needed a win to strengthen their weak tournament resume but were routed by a strong Illinois team.

  2. Bring back Baker-Mazara and a healthy Arenas and SC basketball is a different animal, but now the Tournament qualification is down to either ucla or SC

  3. Scott, I thought that the preseason predictions were supposed to be positive. If you have written off the season already, then why even go to games or report on them unless your sole purpose is to prove that you are the smartest football analyst about USC and college football in the country. Joel Klatt looking for positives is his analysis. Give your analysis and see who is right at the end of the season. If you are right, then pat yourself on the back but don’t breaik your arm doing it. Joel pointed out the positives for next season, now its your turn to point out your negatives…..and we know that LR sucks; so make your comment about the totality of the team. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962
