USC Notes: Who Is Pro Fans? Me!

UCLA is a 6.5-7.5-point favorite tonight against USC at Pauley Pavilion.

The rematch is March 7 at the Galen Center. Eric Musselman needs to win tonight for NCAA Tournament hopes but he really needs to win at least once to avoid going 0-4 against the Bruins in his first two years.

If USC is going to win, everyone needs to play and the two-best players (Chad Baker-Mazara, Alijah Arenas) need to play more than 23 minutes and can’t shoot 23 percent on 3-pointers, respectively.

  • Indiana has a spring game. Oregon has a spring game. Even UCLA will have a spring game. USC does not have a spring game. With 32 incoming freshmen already enrolled!

Remember I’ve mentioned that for USC to have a real turnaround, it needs physical practices. No spring game doesn’t bode well in that dept.

I’m actually more pro-USC fan than anyone. I want fans to have a spring game at the Coliseum. I want fans to have a Notre Dame game. I want season-ticket holders to get their money’s worth.

    1. excuse me ma’am, you may be new here, so forgive me if I appear brusque, but don’t you EVER impugn the wolfman in his own blog again! The wolfman is an icon here, sacred as a golden calf, and twice as idolized. Plus he has the voice of an angel.

      1. And saying what he did as if it’s so horrible.

George Carlin used to say that if he could lick his own balls the way his dog did, he’d have stayed home every Saturday night! 🤣

DON: I loved it when you stupidly claimed Mexico controlled the Southwest US for hundreds of years.

DON: I was reminded today of how in 1848 California had been a part of Mexico for hundreds of years. But the U.S. took it from Mexico in a War

KAM: Well, they are becoming a large percentage of the California population, so they’re taking it back

  1. Riley: All Spring practices are closed to the press and public and we will have no Spring game.

Jen: You wanted 11 million a year and the donors said Yes. You wanted a 200 million football facility and the donors said Yes. You wanted a 1 million dollar a year GM to ease your recruiting burdens and the donors said Yes. You wanted to name your own defensive coordinator and pay him well and the donors said Yes. You wanted the highest paid NIL packages and the donors once again said Yes.

The donors want open practices and a Spring game. I am not telling them No.

    1. KAM:  Donovan Dent was quite right and  scored a season-high 30 points including 5-6 three pointer and host UCLA crushed Southern California 81-62 on Tuesday night in a meeting of crosstown rivals It was a costly loss for the collapsing Trojans (18-10, 7-10), who have dropped four in a row and now sit in 11th place in the Big Ten, a game ahead of crummy Washington.

DON: USC’s NCAA Tournament hopes had already taken a major hit with a 71-70 home loss to lowly Oregon, next-to-last in the Big Ten. At least the Trojans are assured of making the league tournament, which is allowing all 18 teams to participate after limiting it to 15 previously.

    1. KAM: That’s all they have now. They are completely mismanaged. Every department is on the grift, so they fired the devil’s advocate who revealed their utter corruption.

DON: $425 million annual deficit for the Democrat run public university. It’s like Minnesota South.

      1. A $425 million annual deficit at UCLA. 24 billion supposedly spent on the homeless but nobody seems to know where the money went. The State legislature voted 70 to 0 to audit the project but Democratic Presidential candidate Gavin Newsom vetoed that bill. This is on top of the 18 billion spent on high speed rail and no tracks have been laid. 8 billion on an 8 mile outdoor track for the Olympics that has not been completed. A multi billion dollar bond measure that was suppose to be used to build water reservoirs did not result in any reservoirs and there was no water in many of the hydrants to fight the Palisades and Eaton fires.

When are we going to start getting serious about government corruption. This should be a bipartisan issue. People need to go to jail over fleecing the taxpayers out of billions of dollars.

      1. Some idiots like to claim Joe wasn’t a complete failure.

Yet Kamala stating that “nothing came to mind” that she would have done differently was the final nail in her coffin! If Joe had been anywhere close to being a success, that comment wouldn’t have doomed her the way it did.
