USC Notes: A Tradition Looks Primed To Continue

Su’a Cravens will be the guest speaker at the 57th annual Trojan Football Alumni Club golf tournament.

It’s a good time to remind everyone Lincoln Riley has yet to appear at this golf tournament since becoming USC football coach.

  • USC lost to Washington, 76-64, in the first round of the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Here’s the thing: In its past two games, USC has been outrebounded, 91-49. That is atrocious. Lindsay Gottlieb getting exposed when she doesn’t have a huge talent advantage over other teams.

    1. KAM: Riley Coyote doesn’t like people. He makes Terry Donahue look out going.

DON: He is what they call “On The Spectrum”.

      1. KAM: Surprise, surprise surprise! AI: Search Assist:

“Lincoln Riley has a golf handicap of 9.1, which is considered respectable among college football coaches. This indicates he typically shoots 9 over par during his rounds.” So he likes to play golf and is quite talented at it.

DON: That makes the snub of the Trojan Football Alumni Club golf tournament. even worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      2. KAM: It is obvious that the hired help Riley Coyote does less than the minimum to promote relations between the football program and former players, alumni and students.

DON: His legacy is destroying USC football tradition. John McKay and John Robinson look down from heaven in disgust.

      3. All will be forgiven IF he beats Ohio State and Oregon…….but…. if he doesn’t, McKay and Robinson will descend down on him like Marcellus Wallace’s henchmen being called to the kidnapper’s basement in Pulp Fiction….

      4. Hmm ok didn’t know that….I guess I was projecting my own musings per ‘…what a horrible way to ruin a perfectly good walk…’Donahue graduated from my HS 6 years before me….nice guy but I always felt a couple of years there the ‘Bruins’ should have been in serious contention for a NC.

  1. Trojan football has been around since 1888, 138 years. If it could withstand Sark, Kiff, and Ton-o-Hel, it can put up with Wiley for a bit longer

    1. USC must be close to supernaturally invulnerable to get through the Folt/Bohn years….
