Riley will not be pooping on Sep 26. He will require no Charmin.

Well, when the deal is sh*t (win) or get off the pot, he won’t be needing those either.

clock management and play calling was perhaps at an all-time low in that game…
And that is saying something…

KAM: Moore vs. Maiava is a brewing Big Ten quarterback showdown for fans to enjoy. Oregon travels south to play USC in Los Angeles on Sept. 26 and Moore has something to prove.
Dante Moore Snubbed From Impact Score
Below is the list of the Top-10 returning Power Four quarterbacks, via impact score.
1. Jayden Maiava, USC: 93.1
2. Julian Sayin, Ohio State: 90.8
3. Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss: 90.3
4. Byrum Brown, Auburn: 88.8
5. Devon Dampier, Utah: 88.5
6. Brendan Sorsby, Texas Tech: 88.2
7. Darian Mensah, Miami: 88.2
8. Gunner Stockton, Georgia: 88.0
9. Demond Williams Jr., Washington: 87.8
10. Anthony Colandrea, Nebraska: 86.7
DON:When Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore decided to forgo the 2026 NFL Draft and return to Eugene for another season, he skyrocketed up most rankings for best college football quarterbacks. However, according to an “impact score” by PFSN, Moore is not a Top-10 returning Power Four quarterback.
Meanwhile, Oregon’s Big Ten foe, the USC Trojans have a quarterback who usurped the No. 1 spot for impact score.
We will see September 26th. Talk about bulletin board material!

I’m pretty sure Moore is better than 5 of the guys on that list….
…..We just need Jayden to stay focused and calm down…. last year he was throwing high and late….

someone is going to pay dearly for leaving Uncle Nico off this list.

Gabby,
The SC qb throws off his back foot, down the middle in triple coverage and tries the same pass play about 20 times in a game. He has not broken through that pattern. Until I see something better, I think he loses the game against Oregon. He has to get past these mistakes.

I think Jayden will improve again this year, P. T.

So, I looked up passing efficiency from last year. Page 1 (the top 50) didn’t have Nico. I figured my eyes were going. I looked again. No Nico. I go to page 2, puzzled…I see some guy named Klubnik. Then I see JC French the 4th, who is being coached by Clay Helton.
Still no Nico. I am getting ready to go to page 3, which is the last page. But thankfully, I see Nico on the bottom of page 2, right at number 100.
Yes, Nico was the 100th ranked QB:

KAM: The USC Trojans men’s basketball team enters the Big Ten Tournament searching for answers after a turbulent regular season.
DON: The Trojans will face Washington on March 11 in the second round, hoping to halt a seven-game losing streak that erased what once looked like a promising NCAA Tournament resume.

The USC vs. Oregon game is over 6 months away. Can we get some more pressing information. There were two full pad practices last week. Who stood out? Parents and alumni watched the Saturday scrimmage and they talk. One site says Trent Mosley, Kaden Dixon Wyatt and the JUCO transfer Josiah Jefferson were standout receivers and that Elbert Hill will likely start at cornerback. Bret Kolojay also looks good at offensive guard. Any impressions of the incoming recruits Scott? What do the former players who watched the practices think of the new guys.

Plow,
For what it’s worth, other sites are saying the D-Line and the linebackers look much improved —but I’ve heard that before.

Same here MG. But I really like the Patterson hire. Wasn’t sure at first but the limited practice film shows that he is all over the field and the guys seem to be playing with real energy. I also like his hybrid linebacker/safety position in lieu of a nickel back.
If they can’t field a top 10 defensive line something is clearly wrong. Stewart, Bouchard, Van Sumeren, Garrett, Winfield, Tom Tom, Crawford, Shelby, and Wafle are as talented as anyone in the country.

Scott is now taking 2 talking heads as legitimate prognosticators of the 2026 team?– Can we find somene who actually has witnessed the practices?

KAM: Lame SC basketball only has to win the Big-10 Tournament to qualify for the playoffs. Would you place a billion dollar bet to win $1 on the Trojans’ chances?
DON: The odds of that happening are not a billion-to-1, but probably close to 100-million-to-1. But to answer your question, ‘No.’
KAM: Coach John McKay used to say about one of his mediocre teams that “We are only 6 or 7 plane crashes away from winning the championship”

McKay made that comment before today’s 24/7 sports news. Now he’d be criticized ad nauseum by virtue signaling ESPN…
