USC Wins Three Oscars!

USC won an earl Oscar tonight as Sam A. Davis won in the Best Live Action Short Film catergory for “The Singers.” Davis is a graduate of the USC Cinema School.

And another Trojan, Ludwig Göransson, won for Best Score for ‘Sinners.” It’s his third Oscar victory.

And it’s a hat trick for USC as Ryan Coogler won for Best Screenplay for “Sinners.”

It’s a good time to point out USC quarterbacks have now won a Super Bowl and an Oscar.
Cotton Warburton won an Oscar for best editing in 1965 as the film editor for “Mary Poppins.”

  • USC women’s basketball will play Clemson on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Columbia, S.C.. If the Trojans win, they play No. 1-seeded South Carolina

  1. It’ll be an early exit for our ladies.

“Sinners” won an Oscar, too. Director, Ryan Coogler, is a USC graduate as is the composer of the score, Ludwig Goranssan.
