USC Takes Shot At Oregon

There used to be a time when USC didn’t look back at anyone else because it only worried about itself.

So what does it say when USC has to dunk on Oregon when it gets a commitment over the Ducks?

  1. Oregon is 8-2 vs USC since 2009. It’s safe to say they won’t lose any sleep about one commitment.

Scott’s right…pretty lame. But that’s who we’ll always be with Riley at the helm, only hoping to be as good as the Ducks.

      1. One win wouldn’t change anything. But it would be a nice start.

When we can say we’ve been 8-2 versus Oregon the past ten years, THAT will be something.

      2. Very good point.

I’d be happy if we won ALL our home games [Oregon, Ohio State and Washington]…and creamed the sh*t outta UCLA at the Rose Bowl.

We’d end the season —not with a National Championship —but with some self respect.

      2. LOL, MG!

El Mariachi had Campa & Quino to watch his back. The Boondock Saints had their daddy, Il Duce! (That six holster vest is sweet!)

  3. Scott, are you ever truly satisfied with anything good that USC does? A win is a win. In the bygone years that you so fondly remember, we cherished wins of any kind against UGLA especially when they had Red Sanders as a coach. Then, it was Washington. In the 1920’s it was The Cal Bears. USC always had a team that they were competing against for wins. Now, it is Oregon because of Nike. So, do yourself and USC a favor and live in the moment not the past which was never as great as you make it out to be. We have eleven national championships in football, cherish them and know that they have always been rare and not an annual occurance which is why they are special. Fifht on, Dan, Class of 1962

  4. Come on Trojans, let sleeping dogs lie, what SC did there with Oregon was just plain bush. The Ducks have had SC’s number since Carrot left, accept it and change it
