USC Wednesday Buzz: Outrageous Decision By Big Ten

You want to hear something crazy? When USC plays UCLA in baseball this weekend, two of the three games will only be shown on B1G+, which is a streaming service.

Just the series finale on Sunday will be on the Big Ten Network.

What is the conference thinking? USC-UCLA might be the biggest baseball series in the history of the conference and they relegate the first two games to streaming! The teams play just one series this season. This is it.

Instead, Friday night, the Big Ten Network has the conference men’s gymnastics championships and then on Saturday there’s a big men’s lacrosse game between Ohio State and Maryland.

Now here’s the kicker: The men’s gymnastics on Friday ends at 7 p.m. PT. So why couldn’t they move the baseball game start back one hour to 7 p.m.? What a joke.

  • Future USC Trojan Saniyah Hall had 21 points and 5 rebounds and earned MVP honors in the McDonald’s All-American girls’ basketball game.
  • In the boys’ game, Christian Collins had six points and six rebounds while Darius Ratliff had five points and one rebound. Adonis Ratliff did not play because of an ankle injury.

  3. See what Mark Davis sold 3.5% of the Raiders to Egon Durban (Silver Lake) that Yahoo noted raised the value of the Raiders from pre-sale valuation of $9.3 bil to post-sale value of $11 billion (3.5% = $385 mil).

    Durban is also in line for another 2-3% ‘because’ Mark Davis moved to block Tom Brady from increasing his planned move to acquire more control and ownership.

    Now if Moreno has well over $4 billion reasons to sell the LAA (would to the Lord he would).

  4. Dodgers offense is pathetic. The all-star lineup played minimally during spring training, but the minor leaguers got a lot of work. Hopefully, they will start hitting by the all star break and make the playoffs. If they keep playing this bad, maybe Coach Andy could manage the team after the College World Series. And, fire Dave Roberts. Then return to USC after the threepeat. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

    1. ambitious come on really? Look I’m no fan of the Dodgers but Roberts’ track record is remarkable then again Joe Torre was lambasted even after winning 3 consecutive WS.
