I generally don’t find the usual banter between Oregon and USC fans on social media to be that interesting.
For one thing, there is no comparison between the schools when it comes to history and national titles. At the same time, I don’y why USC lowers itself by taking shots at Oregon over recruiting commitments.
With that said, I thouight this post was funny, because it emphasized how some people place more emphasis on recruiting rankings than wins or losses.

I am hearing through sources that Taco Jen our AD has told Musselman that he must win next year and reach the NCAA tournament or………..else! Jen, is growing tired of Musselman always asking for more NIL money for basketball recruits each season with no signs of improved basketball attendance at Galen, no return on the investments on players, and no trips to the NCAA tournament under his leadership.

KAM: So USC mens basketball must finish in the Top 75 to save Musselman’s job?
The NCAA is expected to finalize plans to expand both the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments from 68 to 76 teams starting in 2027.
DON: What a goal! Make the top 75 is good enough at USC.

Almost,
What happens if Mussleman does not go to the playoffs? What will Jen Taco Lita Cohen do then? Will she fire him or back down like she did with the nd agreement? She is incompetent at best.

I suppose we could take shots at Oregon over academics, quality of life issues, and alumni support but Oregon seems to acknowledge their inferiority in these areas. However, they have celebrated their ability to take recruits from Southern California the past decade or so. Now that that is no longer the case, and it is something Oregon cares about, why not throw them some shade. It the kind of thing we do on a USC sports blog. Don’t take it away from us Scott. It elevates us at the expense of Oregon.

“quality of life”?? are you referring to the armed compound with Shawshank-style walls surrounding it, amidst the dystopian hellscape that is South Central????
i wager Ducks can stick their nose outside campus walls at midnight without literally ending up a chalk outline!!

Looks about right.
I’ve got some suggestions for USC and their naming rights.
#MeToo for the multi purpose room “Empowerment through empathy “
The Mustang Ranch for the recruit terrace ” Nobody phucks our Bunnies better than a Trojan ! “
Waste Management for the turf ” When you think of Lincoln Riley, you think of garbage “

wolfman, you have now given the trOXans ammunition to claim another phantom Natty!! remember a while back pwhen SC scoured the old ranking systems (there used to dozens) to pad their stats to include four nattys from these archaic ranking systems??
now they will claim an “Offseason Natty” and raise a banner in Gayylen to join their shameless participation Banners!!

Historically, USC football is “special” each February through August.
By end of October, when 8 and 4 or 7 and 5 is the reality, the talking points are are wait till next year.
The word “special” has been corrupted by the USC fanboys.
