Lincoln Riley told CBS that he is a better coach now than at Oklahoma.
He is currently 11-7 in the Big Ten. Imagine his record if he hadn’t improved so much as a coach.
- LSU and Lane Kiffin have hired Ed Orgeron as the special assistant to recruiting and defense. He will be paid $100,000.
Quite a job for the LSU athletic director, who has to deal with Kiffin, Will Wade and Kim Mulkey.
- USC baseball will play Michigan State on Friday at 7 a.m. PT in its initial game of the Big Ten Tournament.
- USC pitching coach Seth Allen is reportedly a candidate to become head at the University of Houston.
Wiley has been a head coach for only about 11 years and is in his early 40s. No doubt he has gotten football wiser since being at SC. He now knows what doesn’t work

No, it’s the second funniest he’s ever posted, Buddha.
The funniest is when he tried to claim that Joe merely had a stuttering problem.

We can’t host any games at Dedeaux in the postseason due to construction delays and safety concerns. I wonder where we will play if we are selected to host….Great Park in Irvine or CS Fullerton is what I am thinking….

Scott, why the snarky comment. This year is the first year with all of his players; so, we all know that it is the make or break year. Are you rooting for LR to fail in order to prove that you are always right; how about rooting for LR and OUR Trojan team to be successful. You are on record that LR is an abject failure; so, root for the team. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

Excuses, excuses.
PC couldn’t buy players like today and he was on fire in year 2, and if you look at his first year with basically no talent aside from Palmer and Troy P, he went 6-6 with a
4 point loss to #12 Kansas State,
a 2 point loss to #7 Oregon in Eugene,
a 5 point loss to Stanford
a 3 point loss to # 11 Washington at Seattle
and a 9 point loss at ND.
Five losses by a total of 23 points, 3 of the losses to top 12 ranked teams, two of those on the road.
Riley has had enough time to build his team. He refused to recruit California in his early years and has been forced to by the AD and GM. His clock management is horrid. He doesn’t know what defense is. He hasn’t recruited top OL or DL, or LB’s for that matter. The guy is a fraud.

btw, that Notre Dame loss would have been closer if one of our players didn’t get creamed faking a punt when he wasn’t told to do anything but kick the fricking ball away….

Yes…and with Caleb Williams at QB in his first year at USC —-

It wasn’t Helton’s guys that pulled that first year miracle off —it was Caleb…. [with Grinch doing everything to make it harder]…..

KAM: Wait, so his success the first year is due to his 3 players he brought with him from Oklahoma and his failure the next 3 years ….
DON: …was due to Helton?

Ed Orgeron for a $100,000 is a steal. He wanted to coach at USC but the puzzy culture that runs the university wouldn’t touch him.
