Morning Buzz: It’s Camp Season But How Many Lucky Prospects Will USC Take?

It’s time for summer camp season at USC and prospects are coming to USC.

When I see the prospects, though, I keep wondering how many USC will actually take given that Chad Bowden intends to take only 16 freshmen next year.

I’m still not convinced that is the case, especially if some top prospects decide late in the game they might want to come to USC. Ol’ Chad might have to rethink his position.

  • Brianna Selby, who ran the anchor leg on USC’s NCAA champion 4×100 relay over the weekend and won the Big Ten title in the 100, has entered the transfer portal.
  • Good for USC to host the L.A. Grand Prix track meet on Sunday. The crowd, however, was woeful, which is more a sign of the apathy toward track and field.
  • Have you ever been to a pro baseball game with this atmosphere? This is what happens when Scottish fans attended the Red Sox game last night.

  1. God bless the Scots…and speaking of Scots, if you haven’t watched this, even if you don’t play golf, this will make your day better:
