If you don’t like USC losing baseball players to the transfer portal, Oregon just lost All-American outfielder Angel Laya and designated hitter Naulivou Lauaki.
They are both freshmen and each hit 14 home runs this season.
- Former USC defensive lineman Marlon Tuipulotu and cornerback DeCarlos Nicholson had tryouts today at the Denver Broncos mini-camp.
WORLD CUP VIDEO OF THE DAY
The Benjamins keep on driving the portal…
And speaking of the Benjamins, BYUs AJ Dybsanta, a one-and-done, hoopster who will likely be the NBA’s #1 draft pick in a couple of weeks, had an NIL of $11 million for his one year at BYU.

Good to know that USC is in the same leaky portal boat as is every other top sports school. Invest NIL to get four top starters and a good relief staff with a top closer. If we had had just one lock down closer we would be in the CWS. Look for the young HS arms that can throw in the 90’s and teach them a slider and one other off speed pitch. Four top starters ? You need two and an above average third starter, a closer and good relief.
Four top starters , HAHAHAHAHA, I’m starting to think you’re Sparrow Calypso in disguise

I don’t understand how a school can justify 11 million for a basketball player. Other than Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas and a few others, the sport rarely makes a profit. I wonder how much BYU would pay for Arch Manning or some other top quarterback.

Hi Bud, I’m going for greatness with four outstanding starters and a good relief staff. If the dodgers could purchase an outstanding team; so can our Trojans. I thought that we had more billionaire alums than any other school. By the way, who is Sparrow? Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

This is how Fight on described Sparrow:

“You go to great lengths to appear to be an intellectual when instead you consistently make some of the dumbest comments on this site. On the previous post, you stupidly tried to equally attribute the left’s words and actions to the political right. People like you are the problem when you refuse to acknowledge reality and instead act as some pseudo-intellectual who is above the fray. Equal is from the Latin “Aequalis” meaning same as, level, even. It does not mean disproportionate or approximate as you are suggesting. In fact, it means the exact opposite. Of course, being a pseudo-intellectual, you will now obfuscate and deflect claiming that you misspoke or I have misinterpreted your nonsense. And if you are questioning the assassin’s political leanings, then why did you even write “Libs or Repubs” in your original comment since you are apparently now asserting that politics may not even be a motivation? Of course, you know the person’s political leanings but it doesn’t fit with your desired belief that Republicans and conservatives are to blame for divisiveness and political violence. Or are you so daft to think that someone who agreed with Charlie Kirk would want to kill him? You previously dismissed and excused the unhinged individual on this site who advocated for a political assassination. You are a weak person with average intelligence. You are not an intellectual and you possess no moral superiority despite your continuous efforts to appear to do so.”

No he didn’t say that. Won’t find that in the Bible. Jesus preached from 30 to 33 A.D. The religion that Muhammad founded is 7th century.
