USC Sunday Buzz: Another Notable Omission And Near Miss For Ex-President

Here’s another one for USC baseball players named to the College Baseball Hall of Fame but not the USC Hall of Fame: Pitcher Bill Bordley, who went 26-2 and won a national title in 1978.

  • Jace Souza, a reserve outfielder at Texas Tech the past two seasons, has committed to USC. He hit .171 this season.
  • Max Nikias says his cybertruck avoided an accident in downtown L.A. He drives a cybertruck? That USC money probably paid for it.

  1. He admits he is too old or such a bad driver that he couldn’t avoid an accident. We have a lot of those on the road.

I’ve avoided this type of accident on many occasions over my years on the road, both on 2 wheels and 4.

    1. Agree SoCal. This type of thing happens everyday. A bit concerning that Nikias thinks its newsworthy. If he can’t avoid a collision without a computer assist he probably shouldn’t be driving.

  2. .171 batting average. Hope they are not offering a full scholarship. He should be happy if USC lets him shag balls and use the bathroom in the McKay Center.
