Phil Steele has ranked four USC wide receivers among his top 10 freshmen in the West. National rank is in parentheses.
1—Jalen Lott, Oregon (5)
2—Ethan Feaster, USC (6)
3—Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, USC (12)
4—Messiah Hampton, Oregon (19)
5—Jordan Clay, Washington (28)
6—Zion Robinson, Stanford (29)
7—Trent Mosley, USC (37)
8—Mason James, Washington (39)
9—Luc Weaver, USC (58)
10—Dre Pollard, Stanford (69)
Note: I actually rate Mosley as the No. 1 freshman receiver at USC but we’ll see what happens during the season.
- Eric Reibe, the transfer center from UConn, has reaggravated an injury he had last season and is expected to be out for all or most of the summer. Here we go again with the basketball injuries.
This receiver ranking is based on what these kids did in high school. College is a step up

If the ranking were based solely on what a player did in high school, Trent Mosley would be well ahead of Kayden Dixon Wyatt. He lead Santa Marguerita to a state championship. Nobody could stop him in high school. I think he is below some others based solely on his height.

Trojans should be stacked at WR, soph Tanook Hines is one of the fastest guys in college football with a 10.07 100 time.
FWIW, Feaster was mentored by Dez Bryant, who is really high on the young man.
Like every year, this upcoming season is going to boil down to the O-line…

Agree 67. If we have an above average offensive line, and I think we will, watch out. Experienced quarterback who is very athletic, great running backs especially Waymo, solid and potentially great although inexperienced wide receivers and watch out for Bowman, the freshman tight end. It should be difficult for opposing teams to keep us under 35 points a game.

Yes, always optimistic about USC football. Good thing that I don’t gamble. Would have lost most of the time over the past 15 years. But this year is different because I think we will be good along the line of scrimmage.
