Wide receiver Eli Woodard of Temecula, who was originally committed to USC, committed to Miami today. He also considered Cal and UCLA.
He decommitted from USC because he wanted to take visits to other schools, which is against the policy of Chad “Charmin” Bowden.
It would have been funny if someone like Luke Wafle had tested this policy and made other visits and then called USC to say he wanted to recommit. Do you think USC would have turned him down?

I can see why a ’27 WR recruit would want to go elsewhere. Opens up another scholly for a big ugly.

KAM: “Commitments” is an archaic term for the pre-transfer portal/mercenary era.

Do you think USC would have turned down Luke Wafle if he violated the “no visits” policy? Yes. I recall that a 5 star linebacker, Griffin, wanted to visit other schools after committing to USC and they flatly told him if he did that his scholarship would be revoked and they followed through on it.

DON: 90% of college players won’t be good enough for the NFL, so they are looking at a 4-year college career when they can cash in. For most of them this will be the best money they ever make
