When I wrote this morning about Jayden Maiava’s inconsistency, which USC-media types seem to ignore, I didn’t even know there was a critical report of his performance at the recent Manning Passing Academy.
From CBS Sports: “(Maiava) left something to be desired from a pure arm-strength standpoint.
“Somewhat of a mechanical thrower, the ball doesn’t jump out of his hand — especially when surrounded by peers — and he can struggle to generate consistent velocity into the intermediate and deep parts of the field.”

There’s our favorite poster showing us her armpit again.
No doubt that’s a religious medal of some sort hanging from her neck, since she’s a “Follower of Jesus” and ends her messages with “you stupid idiot”.

Weren’t they saying the same thing about Arch Manning and now he is projected as the best college QB this year. Wait until you see him in a game. If he can’t show quality skills, we can always try the five star backup. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

I wonder if he is dealing with shoulder or elbow issues? Maiava trained last summer with the fellow who worked with Brady, Brees, Stafford, and Herbert, and he said pretty much the exact opposite of what Scott reported: “Jaden has genuine arm talent. We worked on his mechanics to optimize his throwing.”

Both of the guys before Jayden suffered injuries —but I’m not blaming Riley or the O-line. Caleb came up lame cuz he was trying to outrun corners & safeties to the end zone in the Utah game, Miller was holding on to the ball 2 seconds too long in every game after that great Bowl Game he played for us …
Personally, I’m hoping Jayden only runs when he has to — we need his leadership.
