  3. Scott, unfortunately every conference game can be a trap game, and that is why the Big Ten schedule is so daunting for all conference members. And, why the nonconference games are important warmup games for the conference season. Now, if ND were in the Big Ten, they could play an equally tough schedule every year and USC could be one of their annual opponents like UCLA. On College Football Live yesterday, they discussed Texas Tech football and the impact of NIL money on that once mediocre program. It’s amazing what oil money can do. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962
