Every One Loves Big Ten Media Day

Media days are almost always uneventful. Today was no exception.

And like clockwork the little minions who cover USC as part of the fanboy media were beating the drums like dutiful cheerleaders about how confident the Trojans and Lincoln Riley were today.

Have you ever seen a team that wasn’t optimistic at media day?

But even columnist Pat Forde of Sports Illustrated joined the party.

Maybe Riley is so relaxed and upbeat because he doesn’t have to play Notre Dame?

  1. Who wouldn’t be relaxed and upbeat after earning $40 million in the last four years, and another $60 million or more in the next six years.

    I am assuming Tanook Hines will be the new #1 WR. He runs the 100 meters in 10.07, but also has surprising strength, excellent hands, and outstanding instincts for getting open:

    6 catches for 140 yards and 1 TD versus the quacks, 6 catches, 163 yards versus TCU

    Maybe this is another reason Riley is relaxed…

  2. Oh Scott another snide remark at Riley i.e. it was he and he alone that wanted to cancel the annual game with ‘the princess’ and no one else right? Hmm maybe you can do a dual guest shot tomorrow at 5:00 a.m. on 570 am with Petros and both suck up to Brady Quinn what?

    1. It must feel odd to so shut out of everyday life, Syb….

      As far as Lincoln saying we have the right team and the right QB —we had the right team and the right QB to beat Utah and Tulane. But we got outcoached at the end of these games. That is what’s got to change.

      I say it will change. Scott apparently doesn’t agree.

      One of us will owe the other an apology on 9/26…..

MickeyG, Annuities are for suckers, i put it all in crypto, baby!! i’m a little nervous about my entire portfolio of Big Peedo Tokens though, he said they were a great investment, and like a good cult member, i believe whatever he says! still, my tokens lost 90% of their initial value!! Patience!! i’m slightly irked that Peedo and his family managed to make $1Billion in fees even as the tokens tanked!! but i still trust in the Big Peedo!!
