With the early kickoff last week, I didn’t have a post to pick the score so we can start today.

Will this be a routine blowout or will USC make it closer than expected like last week?

  6. Using the fool proof method of predicting final scores of college football games (I’m referring to the price of McDonald’s McCrispy Strips/Snack Wrap for the home team score:  $3.35; and the price of the Taco Bell Orange Juice:  $2.21) it looks like a 35-21 Trojan victory.

USC 45-19 … Charles Nelson (Riley … aka Wiley or Big Game Bob He’s Not) will cluelessly act as if it is meaningful or to be taken as if on par with playing an opponent anything like what classic USC did routinely (Nebraska, Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU, Michigan State, Arkansas, Missouri … and of course Notre Dame and repeated Rose Bowls versus Ohio State and Michigan, as well as two bowls against Texas A&M – and that was just in the ’70s!) …

    No one is talking about the UCLA call game….I hear it’s a sell out in Strawberry Canyon.. Cal’s qb is going to be great in his sophomore season. Nikko will get hit pretty hard in this one especially when he runs out of the pocket.

    Cal 42 UCLA 28 New Head coach Tosh Lupoi will make Cal a consistent winner in the ACC, and he has a young qb who just might win the Heisman
