OK, we have something fishy going on with USC attendance figures.
USC announced Friday night the crowd for the Fresno State game was 53,014. The announced attendance for the San Jose State game was 51,144.
The problem is there were way more people at last night’s game than the previous week. So last week was a gross exaggeration or this week was vast underreporting.
Now it’s pretty common for schools to announce tickets distributed or sold and not actual attendance.
But Fresno State brought more fans than San Jose State and I have a hard believing San Jose was ever a hotter ticket given the 12 p.m. kickoff and weather conditions. Also, the crowd in the photos below looks to me like a lot more than 53,000 tickets were sold or distributed.

It is ‘Attendancegate’ all over again

How can a freshman have students wearing “Wafle House’ when he hadn’t even played a game yet?

SC did run up 140 ground yards. Coupled with over 400 passing yards, the Trojans won’t see a better statistics day than this one

What a difference a week makes. Last week Coach Patterson is being mauled by the Trojan faithful, and yesterday he was mobbed by his players

HAWR HAWR!! wolfman you really know how to bait the SC Fanboys, Homers and Company Men!! one rather plain observation and they come swimming up like a school of Big Mouth Bass to gobble the hook!! but really, how can you dispute poor attendance when SC has played two games against QB’s with only Div 1 start under their belts?? my assistant AI tells me no DIV 1 school has ever faced such inexperience over two games in Power Four scheduling!! will the “SC formula” of scheduling patsies across all major sports continue to backfire on them in league play??

Maiava is infinitely better this year, and a big part seems to be he really understands the offense.
Fingers crossed the team can stay healthy…

Very disappointed last night. They had a “Projans” video highlighting the Overall #1 NFL Draft Picks. Ron Yary, Ricky Bell, Keyshawn Johnson, Caron Palmer, and Caleb Williams were displayed. One notable omission. Is Fred Goldman a USC Donor?

The NCAA QB rating is from 0 to 100. Fifty is considered average. Maiava was a 98 last night. RG III might be annoying, but his prediction of 97 for Maiava was on the money.
