Pick The USC-Louisiana Score

Does USC cover tonight? The spread is around 31.5 points.

How many fans will still be at the Coliseum at 11 p.m.? How many will be there at 8 p.m.?

Will this finally be the night the running backs break free?

OK, what’s your score?

If fans get bored, look at the cabanas set up on campus for the booster picnic today. Perfect place to grab a nap.

  1. I am among the longest-standing and harshest critics of Charles Nelson/Wiley … but they cover easily, in front of a sparse crowd …

More interesting is Oregon’s continuing to struggle … outcome of Texas-Ohio State … Venables who should have known better hesitating before making Michigan’s QB do more than run … and Missouri looking like they got the better end of the Ole Miss QB situation carrying over from last year (Simmons looked like a high #1 last night) …

  2. I’ll continue with Trojans 42, Cajuns 10

My guess is that Patterson is making a big difference with the team’s culture. Several stories in the press how he is demonstrating various techniques and moving guys with his hits.

    1. And not a fluke. Not only did they escape vs Boise St last week, but the ‘Pokes didn’t scrape by but rather looked dominant over yet another overhyped can of Duck Soup. Can’t say just yet this is going to be one of those strange seasons, but it sure is looking like it. But wild enough for a Wiley Coyote to make it into the playoffs? Let’s not get crazy …

  3. The field is wide open for a solidly coached squad to dominate.
Many favorites lost or losing today the SEC is ‘taking on water’ it is truly anyone who wants it this year.

Man AL looks weak approaching end of 1st half down 17 – 13 to KY
OK was outcoached by MI and for OR to lose at home against a 1st year coached OK St. is telling.

Glad OH St. @ TX is still to be played….
