Chad Baker-Mazara claims Eric Musselman “launched into a profanity-laced, racially-charged post-game locker room tirade” against him last season, according to a lawsuit obtained by the California Post.
Baker-Mazara is suing for breach of contract, conversion and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage, among other charges.
In the lawsuit, Baker-Mazara said Musselman unleashed a tirade following USC’s loss to Nebraska on Feb. 28. The day after the game, Baker-Mazara was dismissed from the team.

Baker-Mazara claimed Musselman then told him to go back to the Dominican Republican.
The lawsuit accuses USC of missing an NIL payment and terminating his NIL agreements.
Athletes should not expect USC to remain loyal to them. One of our most accomplished athletes was recently ignored in a video that was supposed to honor their achievements.
Take anything they say with a grain of salt. They will pretend you never existed, if it becomes the popular thing to do. USC has become almost as woke as many other universities.

Gee, maybe because he was a murderer ( got off due to racial bias ) and convicted of other felonies and did jail time ?

NOT a murderer, just because you think he did it. The only people who mattered said NG.
Yes, did jail time, in large part a vindictive act on the part of the judge, for what she also believed he got away with.
Anyone who doesn’t have their head up their @$$ & follows the news, knows that people who merely go into a room and demand their “stuff back” are not going to do serious time. Not a week goes by that we don’t see someone who’s been convicted of at least a half dozen similar acts without ever doing more than 2-6 months.

KAM: You can’t have it both ways. “The only people who mattered said” G. And he served 9 years in prison for those crimes.
DON: For much is given, much is expected. He was The Ambassador of USC , who was on the same level of respect with fellow American icons like Arnold Palmer, in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. We loved him, and he let us all down.

That is not having it both ways. I didn’t argue the conviction. You should have the rest of that post.

KAM: By having it both ways I mean you can’t dismiss the miscarriage of justice in the OJ murder trial as the decision of 12 jurors who matter and then pick apart the OJ kidnapping conviction. The second 12 jurors also matter.
DON: You trust the OJ jury in the first trial but not in the kidnapping trial.

Goodness, you really are having trouble today. I have NEVER dismissed the 12 jurors!
What was an absolute joke was the sentence. Someone “demanding their stuff” does not get 9 years! That was payback for what the judge felt he got away with in LA.
For OJ to be punished by USC for “demanding his stuff” is laughable. Put a few drinks into any one of us and have someone nearby who has things that belong to us? I wouldn’t be shocked. if some of us acted the same way. (Not smart, but alcohol does that.) 😉
Reason enough to try and erase any memory of our existence?! NO.
Only a fool would claim that 9 year sentence wasn’t some sort of payback. As I stated, anyone who watches the news knows that does not happen to anyone else who would have pulled that stupid stunt.

To put it very simply, someone tried to act as if the Las Vegas incident was the crime of the century. It was not. Not even close.
Not something for which the rich, white people should try to pretend he didn’t accomplish all the things on the field that he did.

KAM: OJ could have gotten 33 years for his hotel armed robbery and kidnapping crimes. The jurors said the secretly recorded audio was the decisive evidence. They indicated they relied on the recordings of the hotel-room confrontation rather than on Simpson’s celebrity or his earlier murder trial.
DON: He was fortunate to be paroled after 9.

LOL! You obviously don’t watch/read the news or else you’d know people in similar situations usually get a slap on the wrist.
I don’t agree with that ONE BIT, but it’s the norm.

I got censored. All I did was state that I understand people feeling the way you do.
But I try to do my best to separate how I feel about a person and what they’ve accomplished. Just as I did below…

Baker-Mazera will be 27 soon. He played with 4 other D1 teams before USC. Today’s frosh hoopers were 9 years old when he first started playing D1 ball. He should have termed out, but this is the state of affairs in college sports today. How can you call him a “student-athlete”?
And I suspect Musselman was the wrong guy hired to coach. USC has really become the gang who couldn’t shoot straight.

Gee, what makes you think he was the wong hire ? Him telling opposing fans to go f themselves ? His little man syndrome on the sidelines ? Ripping his shirt off after big wins ( not at SC though )

KAM: “Student-Athlete” is a quaint term the NCAA, conferences and coaches use when their grift is in danger.
DON: There are now only mercenaries who follow the money.

DON: This SC ‘Baker Man’ guy might have something against SC with a breach of NIL contract
KAM: But the exchange of words between Baker-Man and Muscleman won’t go anywhere

KAM: I suppose the “national” football game this Saturday is Kiffin and LSU at Mississippi
DON: Kiff did a lot for Mississippi football, brought it to relevance. But fans quickly forget and all that’s left is dislike
KAM: I hope Kiff doesn’t mind raspberries
DON: You kidding? Kiffin has been getting booed his whole life. He likes it

Yeah, a pretty weak schedule of games this Saturday.
Every time I want to really cheer for Lane, he does something that makes me shake my head, the NFL players being the latest.
Kind of reminds me of someone else who currently lives in the White House. Love most of his policies. The person? Not so much. I want to! But every time I start to, he says something stupid.
Still NOWHERE CLOSE to thinking we’d have been better off with the alternative. I’m pretty certain that day will never come.

DON: Sounds like Baker-Man, as the team leader, wanted to address his teammates and Muscleman thought he was been upstaged, and consequently let his temper get the best of him

KAM: Rutgers started one quarterback and he threw 3 interceptions and was hurt, so the next game they put in Passer #2 and he throws 4 interceptions
DON: 7 interceptions will definitely place pressure on its defenders. Maybe Rutgers isn’t 3 1/2 touchdowns worse than SC

DON There is NYU but they would accept college football over their dead bodies
