USC claims the Oregon game is a sellout. But not so fast. In the same breath, it says seats are available on SeatGeek.
So there are seats available. In past seasons, USC has put tickets on SeatGeek and still called the game a sellout beforehand.
- Trent Mosley will miss multiple games because of his knee injury per CBS Sports. Will he be back for the October 10th game at Penn State?
- Eric Musselman issued an apology statement to the California Post for his verbal altercation at Manhattan Beach.
“I know the responsibilities that come with my role, and while I was trying to step in and support my coach, I definitely should have handled this situation better and will learn from this for the future.”

I’ve been going to USC games for 50 years. Since they re-configured the Coliseum with the Luxury Tower, there hasn’t been 1 actual “Sell Out”. One of my first games was sitting by the thermostat in the upper corner of the turnstile end vs ucla in 1978. That was a sell out. The Pete Carroll era had sell-outs. To say the Coliseum is “Sold Out” with seats covered by banners or tickets still available on Seat Geek or Stub Hub is disingenuous. Why does SC have to lie about the attendance? I do hope it is sold out. But more importantly, I hope that I don’t have Oregon fans sitting next to me. When Trojan season ticket holders sell their tickets when we play the Ducks, they aren’t real Trojans. Fight On!

DON: SC is not the biggest name on Rutgers’ calendar. It’s not like the old Carrot days, aaah, “those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end”

DON: Just what I feared with SC’s Mosley, he might be out for the season, knee injuries, it’s a tough diagnosis in determining the required time for proper healing
KAM: And to just throw a healing player out on a football field and say “Play,” well, I’m sure SC will handle it with care

KAM: There is a lot of pressure on an injured college player to get back on the field with most of that pressure self-imposed
DON: NIL has changed how colleges look at football players as a valuable commodity of sorts

DON: You wonder if these SC contracts with its hired football players are similar in language to NFL contracts which I would presume so with contingencies outlined such as injuries on the job
KAM: I’m not sure what it is, but college ball lost something when the schools started paying their players
