USC announced last week the Oregon game was sold out. But does it look like a sell out?

It’s obvious that a USC sellout now means say it is a sellout but move rows of tickets to the secondary market to generate interest.

    1. KAM: In the latest AP Top 25 poll released this week:

      • USC Trojans: No. 12 — 4–0
      • Oregon Ducks: No. 20 — 2–1

      So USC is undefeated and is ranked eight spots higher than Oregon….

      DON: …Yet USC is an underdog in the betting market. Oregon is favored over USC by 2.5 points at the LA Coliseum, despite USC’s much higher ranking.

  3. The WW Board is posting Simms out for the year, ouch.

    Mosley out until late October and now Simms, this is getting a bit ugly.

    Last year it was RB injuries, 2026 is WR.

    8 and 4 may be a dream.

  6. GEORGE, I HOPE AGAINST OREGON THAT SC’s MANTRA IS NOT “MAKE LOVE NOT WAR”. I DREAMT LAST NIGHT THAT THE FOOTBALL TEAM OPENED WITH A 3-0 LEAD, BUT THEN OREGON CAME BACK WITH A TOUCHDOWN TO MAKE IT 7-3. FIELD GOALS WILL NOT DEFACE THE DUCKS

  9. KAM: SC’s available wideouts has thinned, Mosley is Mosley, and now an experienced player who Maiava was familiar with goes down. Now they have to put a new face in there. Things are not looking up in Troyland for Oregon

    DON: It seems so many Trojan fans are putting all their eggs into one basket, designating one game as the Season. I thought that was ucla stuff

      2. The Phil Knight Quacks lost a starting OL for the season. Need a big push from the D Line. Oregon QB Moore looked awful against pressure brought by Oklahoma State.

    2. Has nothing to do with putting all our eggs into one basket. It has to do with this being the first real game. Playing junior varsity teams, as we have thus far, does not provide much of an assessment as to how good this team really is.

      What we’ve done in the first four games is no different than what trans men (William Thomas, Brayden Fleming, AB Hernandez, etc.) have done playing against women. This Saturday will give us an idea how we really stack up.

  12. KAM: So many Trojan freshmen are playing. Usually freshmen cannot crack a veteran lineup unless they are super players, which by their “No. 1′ status it would be assumed

    DON: It takes time to acclimate to college-level football which is definitely a step up from high school ball. Colleges choose only a small percentage of players

    1. KAM: So many Trojan freshmen are playing. Usually freshmen cannot crack a veteran lineup unless the upper classmen are inferior.

      DON Expect panic in the ranks of these untested frosh if things turn south.

    DON: Problem is with Oregon you’re going to need a lot of punches

    1. KAM: The good news is this is not the usual powerhouse Oregon team.

      DON: They have been exposed as a callow bunch who barely beat Boise State and lost to unranked Oklahoma State.

    2. The spread suggests we have WAY more than a puncher’s chance—- this won’t be a rout either way. Our offense can do the job IF we stay healthy for 60 fricking minutes [admittedly, something we haven’t done so far]……

  14. KAM: That Back East trip to Rutgers really cost the SC team. They are probably only now, Tuesday, beginning to feel like their old selves again, with Oregon merely 4-days away

    DON: Well, they have age working for them, they’ll be fine, but whether they have enough steam for Oregon is another matter

  16. Is USC going to run into an ambush of Ducks similar to what happened George Armstrong Custer and his troops at Little Big Horn. Custard was trapped in a valley on all 4 sides by Native American Indians determined to get revenge, and due to tremendous game planning Custer and his troops were wiped out.

    I don’t believe Lincoln Riley will have his team ready to play, and this game could get ugly very early on Saturday. Could this be Lincoln Riley’s last stand at USC?? Stay tuned ………..
