Pick The USC-Oregon Score

Finally, the game.

After all the social media nonsense, USC and Oregon will play and it’s a toss-up game. Who do you like?

The two coaches both seem capable of turning in a clunker. And from a big picture, I can still see both of them doing that whoever wins today.

Are Oregon’s offensive and defensive line’s going to finally live up to the hype or will they be disappointing again? Will USC’s defense rise to the occassion?

      3. MG this is definitely a turning point game. I don’t have anything to really say until the game is over. If USC loses Scott will be vindicated, and if they win, we can live to fight next week. And, we have a free week to talk USC football while our Dodgers prepare to dazzle by the baseball world with a three peat. Right on, Dan class of 1962.

  7. IMHO the game boils down to Dante getting off early. if he loses his confidence early in games he goes into a funk. if he starts hot, watch out. i have to give trOJies the edge at home IF they can slow him down in 1st QTR.

MG – For two people (with at least one significant commonality) that always enjoy each other’s comments, you and I are from time-to-time not on the same page (you, as to USC football and fandom on this site, have actually been an optimist – but without being a fanboy or rah-rah thus always deserving of respect). That said … you know better! No way the Coyote wins today (or against Ohio State … possibly beat Penn State and possibly an upset of Indiana judging by their close call against Northwestern) … the Coyote is the Coyote …

    2. Friend of mine (Bruin grad, played on the early-mid 1970s teams with Pepper Rogers as coach) noted “great running game they bought by getting Chesney’s players, passing game mediocre, way too many penalties. Won’t be able to beat a good team.”
