What a win! Four-point victory over Jedd the Fisch.

4th and 2. A 43-yard completion.

Win or lose, this USC team just has too many bad tendencies. And they have played only one road game

Well, 2-point plays need work but USC is back in front.

USC cuts lead to 21-16. It’s a horrible game, whatever the outcome.

Was that tackling that occurred on the sideline for that TD? No, it was not.

Did anyone see anything in that first half to make them feel like USC learned anything from the Oregon game?

Losing to Jedd the Fisch at halftime. Amazing.

Unbelievable. Another poor-discipline penalty.

Penalties are a sign of a poorly coached team, naturally.

Thanks to another penalty, Washington drive keeps going and they score a TD for a 14-10 lead.

Trick play alert II, Grandpa!

So a penalty erases a nice TD pass. Typical.

USC answers back with a TD. Neither team looks great.

Jayden Maiava is too inconsistent. People were crazy to make him a Heisman frontrunner.

Trick play alert, Grandpa!! Washington leads, 7-3.

That fumbled punt return keeps Mike Ekeler’s streak going of games with a special teams mistake.

So far, USC looks like USC.

Grandpa Patteson is in the pressbox so he can see things quicker. First time ever or since 1983?

Does anyone think Lincoln Riley knows the significance of this score?

      1. If we do that, it’s gonna be an expensive 6 years…paying our head football coaches more than $15M a year! Maybe close to $20M.

That doesn’t include both of their staffs!

They showed with that Brian Kennedy case that just a few years from now, they won’t appreciate what they did for us.

      1. On the “upside” if Riley is fired after this game, Wolfman has said that is his cue to start penning his magnum opus Tell All book about his career covering the trOJies!! One can only gasp in awe contemplating the scandalous tidbits he has squirreled away in his notes!!!

  2. This is a completely undisciplined team — that is on the coaches.

Riley can’t get it right. He’s had a thousand second chances & he just can’t get out of his own way…

    1. KAM: I thought SC would come out on fire and prove the critics wrong this week.

DON: Instead they proved that Riley Coyote is the most overpaid coach in professional sports.

Worst overall game perhaps in Riley’s 4.5 years

  4. can someone please shoot Riley – the fact this amazing Offensive mind has scored just 10 points is just one more example of how shi$ of a coach he is. D was doing pretty good- and he’s failing again as a play caller. I’m actually hoping for a loss- it will cost him his job as they will probably lose the next 4 as well.

He’s literally incapable of putting together a complete game.

  6. Who said the old USC defenses kept playing hard when it counted? Was it James? Well, this defense blows it every time it matters. And Jayden is [as usual] at his worst when the game is on the line…

  7. In a couple of weeks, Ohio State will be in LA. And if this is the way they play, they will lose by at least 24 points. And it will be 24 only if O
OSU plays the third string for the last 1.5 quarters.

  9. I’d rather have lost versus this shallow win. A loss would expedite the firing of Riley.

Also, Longstreet should’ve stayed because Maiava is terrible. Even some of his completed passes were tossed up like a game of three flies up.

  10. CFB is week to week – if not for 2 lame passes by the NC QB ND could have lost to the Fightin Jordons. Last year’s team would have lost this game. Grandpa P made some adjustments on that last drive. Little concerned with Maiava but whatever 1st World problems. 5-1

  11. this win was like kissing your sister. Zero sense of accomplishment here. Doofus gets a 50 yard fumble return by a D lineman and that was the winning score really. 2 stupid 2 pt conversion attempts, Ill timed penalties, ya know- the usual let’s take a subpar offense and make it look much better than it is, defensive lapses- a complete Lincoln special! F this guy!!

also, Fisch is an excellent coach, if the leadership decides to move on from Riley, they should send Jed Fisch a blank check and tell him to name his price.

    might need a $200

million buyout for that big Fisch.

    1. you are a riot Miggie – Jedd The Fish would play Backstreet Boys on a KROQ Flashback weekend . He should have stayed at AZ – UW will never be competitive in NIL recruiting against USC / Oregon / Ohio State. USC is by far the most attractive destination for the top talent as they now have a few watered down degree programs so the non NFL talent can still leave with a prestigious degree. Don’t underestimate the impact of our new Pres on the program – smartest dude since Sample.
