“If we get the 24-(team) playoff, you’re going to see many more competitive games scheduled. That’s my belief. We’ll commit to that.”
Does anyone believe Lincoln Riley would do that? Anyone? Anyone?

Honestly, it wouldn’t bother me if USC had someone like this. At the least, it might stop player celebrations while an injured player lies motionless on the field. It might stop people acting like fools with juice boxes. It might cause people to act more professional. It might prevent USC from an embarrassing non-conference schedule.
the amusing thing about the juice box fiasco is that “No Accountability” Riley cannot get rid of them this season; that would be admitting they are idiotic and he would never admit he approved (or worse, thought up) the dumb idea to begin with. Wait, they’re not taking these on the road, are they?

Not only did they look ridiculous. Riley has to be absolutely clueless not to know what “The Juice” means at USC.
Either that or he is a big OJ fan!

At SC OJ was simply known as OJ; it was in Buffalo that they started to call him “The Juice”

KAM: With a 24-team field there will teams that qualify with 3 losses and possibly 4
DON: So with that extra breathing room to possibly make the Playoffs, we should be seeing more exciting regular season games

KAM: With a 24 team playoff there would be even more incentive for Riley Coyote avoiding playing high quality teams like Notre Dame and Ole Miss.
DON: Take this year’s motley crew of underachieving disappointers as an example: Riley Coyote’s Trojans would still get in a 24 team playoff if they could beat crummy Penn State , mediocre WISC and pathetic Maryland. That would be 8 wins and 4 losses and a Top 20 ranking as long as they don’t get blown out by Ohio State, Indy or UCLA. Why risk going 7-5 by playing somone with a pulse?

Good for Irsay-Gordon (Colts fans have been waiting for a long time for some accountability). If only USC would permit anything resembling a competent individual to birddog the football program like that and authority to take corrective action …
