When I say Lincoln Riley has a chaffeur, here is the guy. He picks Riley up in Palos Verdes, hangs around USC all day, then drives him home at night.
On game days, he acts as his bodyguard.
- The damage Riley does is not limited to the football field. For example, when Pete Carroll was the USC coach, the media could interview him after a game and then speak to as many players as they wanted to while the players would get on the bus to back to the airport.
Riley and two hand-picked players spoke to the media for seven minutes last night. No other players were allowed to be interviewed.
USC used to be considered the gold standard by national reporters for its media operations. Now it is getting ripped by Dan Wolken of Yahoo Sports.
Excellent point Scott and absolutely correct. That type of psychological profile is well known – if Charles Nelson had the power he would disappear all of us who dare question him.
BTW-Great image of Bucky Badger dancing in the ruins of the fall of Troy …
