USC Notes: Two Recruits Make McDonald’s Game

Still haven’t heard any word as of now whether the Dallas Cowboys are hiring Dawg Work aka Eric Henderson.

Don’t ask Gary Patterson. He’s busy watching film.

  • Georgetown linebacker GianCarlo Rufo visited USC over the weekend. He has 232 career tackles.
  • USC recruits Adonis and Darius Ratliff have been selected for the McDonald’s All-American game. The game is March 31 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz.
  • I’ve mentioned before that Lindsay Gottlieb plays her stars too many minutes. Yesterday, she had Jazzy Davidson in with a 31-point lead and six minutes remaining.

  1. She is a healthy 18 year old, not an over the hill 40 year old like LaBron. Wasn’t it John McKay who said when he was questioned about OJ carrying the ball over thirty times a game, that the ball is not heavy. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

    1. KAM: We are recruiting Georgetown players?

DON: Georgetown University football, known as the Hoyas, competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision and plays its home games at Cooper Field in Washington, D.C. They finished 6-6 last year with big wins over Wagner College and Fordham but the defense collapsed in losses to Brown (46-0), Lehigh (41-0) and The Holly Cross (42-7)

      1. Yes we are recruiting this kid. And so are several SEC schools. Rufo has incredible statistics and good measurables. If you can land him without NIL payola, go for it. We need linebacker help. And virtually every professional football team has a few players from small college programs.

      1. It was all completely innocent and well intentioned. Lots of holy people went to Epstein’s Island to accomplish Good Works.

  2. Henderson didn’t get the Cowboys job. I suppose this is good news if Henderson stays and actually develops these promising young interior defensive line recruits. Stewart and Bouchard will be Sophomores and both have incredible potential. Tom Tom and Winfield are also impressive. I also like the nose guard transfer from Michigan State. The interior defensive line was our biggest weakness last year.
