USC Will Not Host Olympic Swimming

Do you remember that dumb idea to build a swim stadium on top of Dedeaux Field for the 2028 Olympics? Well, forget about it. The swimming events are being moved to SoFi Stadium, which will have 38,000 seats and 125 suites. Officially, the reason for switching the venue is because USC is building a new Dedeaux Field. The USC … Continue reading USC Notes: Tweet Heard Through College Football

USC Morning Buzz: Decommitments Hurt!

If you want to blame USC’s NIL for the decommitments this week, then it was the same NIL promises that caused them to commit in the first place. So nothing to do with Coach Henny? Can you remember a USC assistant coach putting out a tweet before because of the decommitments? Shaun Noa, the defensive line assistant, just did it this morning. Did it hurt … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Decommitments Hurt!

Day 1 Elite 11 Rankings

After Day 1 at the Elite 11 QB showcase at Mira Costa High School, USC commit Julian Lewis is ranked No. 5. I just assumed he would be No. 1 by a mile after the endless publicity over his recruitment. I’m being sarcastic, of course. These rankings aren’t exactly scientific, anyways.
