In our continuing look at Trojans who passed away in 2023, Troy Richardson was the punter on the 1985 Rose Bowl championship team and was the Trojans’ starting punter in 1983 and 1984. Continuing our look back at Trojans who passed away in 2023, Mike Giddings was the defensive coordinator for the 1962 USC national championship team. Giddings was an assistant coach under John McKay from 1961-65. He left USC to become head coach at Utah (1966-67).
