Sad news that Bill Walton passed away at age 71 from cancer. Walton was always entertaining but no current basketball announcer knew more about the history of USC and he frequently dropped historical references when he did Trojan games. Eric Musselman has completed his coaching staff by hiring former Washington assistant coach Quincy Pondexter. I wrote last month that Musselman wanted to hire Pondexter. Is it is Bronny James or LeBron James at the NBA Combine? Bronny had a 40.5-inch vertical leap (sixth-best at the combine); made 12-straight 3-pointers and finished 19 of 25, good for second place.
