Sad news that Bill Walton passed away at age 71 from cancer. Walton was always entertaining but no current basketball announcer knew more about the history of USC and he frequently dropped historical references when he did Trojan games. Eric Musselman Completes Coaching Staff

Eric Musselman has completed his coaching staff by hiring former Washington assistant coach Quincy Pondexter. I wrote last month that Musselman wanted to hire Pondexter. He then changed his mind and wanted a coach with L.A. ties but got turned down by G League executive Pooh Jeter.
