QUARTERBACK I like the way Kedon Slovis takes hits and comes back to the game after leaving. Matt Fink saved Clay Helton another time even though he could have been starting at another school. Grade: B+ RUNNING BACK Kenan Christon was way better as a receiver than a runner but some of that was the offensive line’s doing. Grade: C WIDE RECEIVER USC has good … Continue reading USC-Arizona State Report Card

I asked someone who works in the athletic dept. how things are going since new athletic director Mike Bohn took over? “Everyone is running around scared,” the person said. With Jack Yary’s decommitment, USC’s recruiting class is now ranked No. 77 by 247 Sports and No. 71 by Rivals. USC has 10 commitments. 10 commitments! When I say Clay Helton needs to be fired now, this is a pretty big reason. Someone needs to be out there on the recruiting trail telling prospects not to sign early or wait for the new coach to … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Here’s A Stat For Mike Bohn

Tight end Jack Yary, the son of USC legendary offensive lineman Ron Yary, decommitted on Sunday night. The irony here is Ron Yary was perfectly happy to see his son go to USC. But Jack Yary also saw the Air Raid offense does not exactly include a tight end. USC’s tight ends have caught 13 passes this season. The rest of the team has caught … Continue reading Jack Yary Decommits From USC
