Donna Heinel Released From Prison

Former USC administrator Donna Heinel was released from prison on July 5. She was sentenced to six months in January for her role in the Varsity Blues scandal. Heinel, 61, plead guilty to wire fraud in November, 2021. She alledgedly took $160,000 from Rick Singer, the ring leader of the scandal. Singer was sentenced to 3.5 years in January.
