Five-star linebacker Xavier Griffin, who previously had been committed to USC, committed to Alabama today. USC isn’t exactly moving into the new Dedeaux Field (or whatever it might call it) in style given that it lost its best pitcher, a top relief pitcher and second-best hitter to the transfer portal. USC men’s basketball lost 15 players from last year’s roster. Eric Musselman has brought in 13 new players. That doesn’t even include the 11 players who left two years ago in Andy Enfield’s last year plus the three players who committed but never showed up after Enfield left.
