USC Morning Buzz: I’m Back From Michigan With Plenty To Say
I’m back from Ann Arbor and going to attempt to tackle much of what happened on Saturday, where a glorious victory turned into a last-minute collapse. Lincoln Riley literally pulled defeat from the jaws of victory as USC fell to a team incapable of throwing a forward pass. Riley blew the game on the drive before Michigan scored its game-winning TD. He had a three-and-out … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: I’m Back From Michigan With Plenty To Say
USC vs. Michigan At The Big House
I’m setting this up now for those who want to discuss the game or even come here during the game. I’m picking USC to win, 34-23. Let’s see what happens. The USC rally already took place today. Continue reading USC vs. Michigan At The Big House
If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
Can you believe USC has not played at Michigan Stadium since 1958? Eight of the previous 10 matchups between the teams was in the Rose Bowl. One thing I’ve heard in the coaching grapevine is that UCLA offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has an NFL playbook that is way more plays than an average college playbook. Saturday’s USC-Michigan game is a stripe out. Even sections wear … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
USC Notes: What Was Jim Harbaugh Doing?
I’m glad I’m not someone whose job it is to hype up the USC-Michigan game. Michigan tight end Colston Loveland played in 18 snaps in last week’s win over Arkansas State before getting injured. His status is uncertain this week but he reportedly practiced. Loveland has 187 receiving yards through three games, which is way more than the next-best player (Semaj Morgan, 56 yards). Where … Continue reading USC Notes: What Was Jim Harbaugh Doing?
USC Morning Buzz: Don’t Fall For Silly Arguments
A silly argument this week is why Michigan announced Alex Orji was starting at QB this week? Orji played in last week’s game and was clearly the better quarterback. USC would have prepared to see him even if there was no announcement. It’s standard preparation. Given that Orji is also able to run, USC would have been expected to especially prepare for him. Sometimes, people … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Don’t Fall For Silly Arguments
Expect USC To Follow Tennessee
I suspect the Penn State game will be close to a sell out like Wisconsin and Nebraska. One reason it might not be yet is the game is during the student “fall break” at USC. What are the odds USC adds a 10 percent talent fee to its tickets next season like Tennessee? Carol Folt worked the chopsticks while learning about AI-produced food. View this … Continue reading Expect USC To Follow Tennessee
