USC Sunday Buzz: Galen Center Hosts Michigan’s Rose Bowl Rally Today
Lincoln Riley couldn’t get USC to the College Football Playoff, so the playoff is coming to USC. Michigan is holding its official Rose Bowl rally today at 2 p.m. at the Galen Center. In Memoriam: Dick Leach
Dick Leach coached the USC men’s tennis team to three NCAA titles (1991, 93-94). Leach coached 35 All-Americans in his 23-year tenure at USC. He was also an All-American tennis player at USC in 1961 and a star singles and doubles player. In our continuing look at Trojans who passed away in 2023, Troy Richardson was the punter on the 1985 Rose Bowl championship team and was the Trojans’ starting punter in 1983 and 1984. He was also a member of the Huntington Beach Edison High School football team that won back-to-back CIF championships in 1979-80. After high school, he attended Golden West College.
