USC Morning Buzz: What’s To Like/Dislike After Spring Drills
USC’s defense is definitely better. It’s offense looks worse. That is the first reaction right now following spring practice, which could change with more transfer portal activity ahead. The question is whether the defense’s improvement offsets the offense’s inexperience/issues? What I like are the Oregon State defensive transfers (Easton Mascarenas-Arnold, Akili Arnold) and Mississippi State cornerback transfer (DeCarlos Nicholson). What I don’t like yet is … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: What’s To Like/Dislike After Spring Drills
USC Notes: Here’s One Guy Happy To Miss Big Ten
Andy Enfield has to be thrilled he won’t be facing that Big Ten schedule. Last week, a high school recruit told me when Enfield told him that he was leaving for SMU, he said he didn’t want to move to the Big Ten. I’ve said that since USC decided to join the Big Ten. Enfield liked his cupcakes and didn’t want to deal with some … Continue reading USC Notes: Here’s One Guy Happy To Miss Big Ten

But now there are multiple candidates, especially with the quarterback position not completely settled. It’s not like there is a marquee tailback, or All-American wide receiver or even a Butkus Award caliber linebacker. One of the better known players, Bear … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Who Is MVP?
Former USC Defensive Tackle Picks School
Former USC defensive Jamar Sekona is transferring to Hawaii. He’s kept a pretty low profile since leaving USC in November. How come Carol Folt’s aide calls her “Carol” but the rest of us are supposed to call her President Folt. "We have to go, Carol." 🙄 https://t.co/tvkU1bTQP5 — InsideUSC (@InsideUSC) April 30, 2024 https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Continue reading Former USC Defensive Tackle Picks School
USC Notes: Basketball Lands Big Ten Transfer
Michigan forward Terrance Williams II has committed to USC. He averaged 12.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists this season. Williams also shot 39.7 percent on three-point shots. Xavier guard Desmond Claude visited USC this past weekend. He averaged 16.6 points and was named the Most Improved Player in the Big East. This sounds like another one of the impact players Eric Musselman wants to … Continue reading USC Notes: Basketball Lands Big Ten Transfer
