Tracking Eric Musselman Developments
Eric Musselman has a massive rebuild ahead. I’m going to keep an eye on how he does with the talented Southern California Class of 2026. Musselman was criticized in Arkansas for alienating in-state high school coaches and relying on the transfer portal. He must work the portal to have a team for next year. But he can’t ignore the Class of 2026 local players like … Continue reading Tracking Eric Musselman Developments
USC To Hire Eric Musselman
The USC coaching search is over. Did anyone else besides Eric Musselman interview? Musselman is expected to become USC’s new basketball coach. I hope his duties include “due diligence.” There was a report Bronny James entered the transfer portal yesterday but nothing has been set yet regarding James’ future. USC will hold its parents’ weekend, dubbed “Trojan Family Weekend” on Oct. 24-27, which is when USC plays Rutgers … Continue reading Notes: Rutgers Has Become Arizona On USC Football Schedule
Morning Buzz: Has USC Done Its Homework?
With Eric Musselman interviewing for the USC job, there was a lot of buzz in college basketball circles over how much homework Jen Cohen and Co. did beforehand? Musselman’s definitely been successful with two Elite Eight appearances at Arkansas before this season’s 16-17 record. And he has just a $1 million buyout, a real plus. That type of success will be welcomed by USC fans. … Continue reading Morning Buzz: Has USC Done Its Homework?
