Notre Dame’s Unique College Football Playoff Situation
The College Football Playoff moved to its 5+7 model today for 2024-25 thanks to the demise of the Pac-12. The “5” who automatically qualify are P4 schools (like USC) and one G5 school. There’s been some complaints that Notre Dame will be the No. 5 seed even if the Irish are ranked No. 1 and have to play four games. USC Notes: An NFL Combine Stat To Remember
USC has the most players invited to the NFL Combine for an unranked team, according to Brett McMurphy. Thanks, Riley! LeBron James said Sunday at the NBA All-Star Game that it would be up to Bronny James whether he enters the NBA Draft. “It’s up to him. … Continue reading Morning Buzz: What Does USC Have In Common With NBA All-Star Game?
Low Expectations For USC?
The first over/under for regular season wins I’ve seen for USC is 7.5 via BetOnline. That seems really low. I understand the concerns about USC’s schedule (which is actually less daunting given Washington’s demise and Jim Harbaugh’s departure). But is 8 wins considered good next season? Are expectations that low? If USC wins 8 games, you make money. But if you are a USC fan, … Continue reading Low Expectations For USC?
