Sunday Buzz: USC QB Hunt Continues
UNLV quarterback Jayden Maiava is visiting USC this weekend. It’s a great move for USC, which needs another QB. I’m not sure how great a move it is for Maiava. He passed for 3,085 yards with 17 TDs and 10 interceptions last season. Does he want to risk sitting on the bench all next season at USC? USC Notes: How Do Early Commits Work Out?
Here is an early commitment story: In Sept., 2021, USC interim coach Donte Williams took commitments from cornerback Jett White (Class of 2025) and wide receiver Jason Robinson (Class of 2024). The homers … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
USC Notes: Rough Week For Defensive Coordinators

In this exchange, Cohen recommends Cauce use the Parker Executive Search firm instead of TurnkeyZRG to hire a new athletic director. You might recall Turnkey was the firm USC used to hire Mike Bohn. Oops. Boise State is … Continue reading USC Notes: Rough Week For Defensive Coordinators
Michael Jackson Commits To Georgia
Donte Williams is not the only one going to Georgia. Wide receiver Michael Jackson announced today he committed to the Bulldogs. Jackson is another one of those USC receivers who seemed to have a lot of potential but didn’t get a lot of opportunities. He caught 17 passes in each of the past two seasons so wherever he went was probably going to be a … Continue reading Michael Jackson Commits To Georgia
