Aidan Chiles Turns Down USC
Former Oregon State QB Aidan Chiles reaffirmed his commitment to Michigan State after rumors Lincoln Riley wanted him to flip to USC. This must be inspiring to Miller Moss that Riley wanted Will Howard and Chiles. Riley did say he wanted two quarterbacks but Howard is going to start wherever he goes and Chiles is starting at Michigan State. So what it continues to say … Continue reading Aidan Chiles Turns Down USC
USC Saturday Buzz: Do Transfers Need History Lesson?
I was speaking to a USC coach and the subject of the Trojans’ extremely flat performance against UCLA came up in the conversation. “I blame some of that on transfer portal guys who didn’t know the USC history,” he said. “USC wasn’t their first choice. They don’t know history of the rivalry.” Former USC TE Michael Trigg, who transferred to Mississippi, is back in the … Continue reading USC Saturday Buzz: Do Transfers Need History Lesson?
The USC Friday Column Supplement
I’m seeing a lot of fans who complain about their college losing recruits because of money now celebrating when it’s the Dodgers spending amazing sums for free agents. USC safety Max Williams said he won’t be returning for his final year of eligibility and he’s ready to move onto the NFL. He will play in the Holiday Bowl. I haven’t heard much on the Chargers … Continue reading The USC Friday Column Supplement
If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
Illinois defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard was offered a similar job at USC but turned it down, according to a source within the football program. “He didn’t want to to move to Los Angeles,” the source said. USC is going to build a new baseball stadium, football building and women’s soccer stadium. So if you want to complain that Oregon is spending more on NIL, blame … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column
The UCLA To USC Pipeline Continues
USC’s raid on UCLA continues as Bruins cornerback John Humphrey just committed to the Trojans. UCLA fans are probably fed up with D’Anton Lynn. Now a caveat: Two Pac-12 coaches tell me the UCLA cornerbacks in general were awful last season. But USC needs corners and Humphrey is tall (6-2). So Lincoln Riley said yesterday he will develop players. But in the meantime, USC will … Continue reading The UCLA To USC Pipeline Continues
UCLA Safety Kamari Ramsey To USC
Former UCLA safety Kamari Ramsey has committed to USC. This was expected ever since USC hired D’Anton Lynn. I have to do some research before I make any judgements on Ramsey, whom 247 lists as the No. 1 safety in the transfer portal. If you want to tell me, he is better than anyone USC has, than I’m inclined to believe it. But . . … Continue reading UCLA Safety Kamari Ramsey To USC
