USC Morning Buzz: Have Recruiting Rankings Jumped The Shark?
I’m getting pretty tired of recruiting rankings. Again. USC received a commitment Monday from offensive lineman Manasse Itete of Modesto. He is the No. 12-ranked offensive tackle in the nation by 247 and a four-star prospect. But he is only a three-star prospect by Rivals. There’s nothing wrong with a difference of opinion. It’s kind of hard not to notice that as USC received a commitment from three-star offensive tackle Hayden Treter over the weekend, top 10-ranked offensive tackle Brandon Baker of Mater Dei High School appears to be favoring Oregon and doesn’t have USC listed among his top choices. Now all is not yet lost for USC and top offensive lineman, as another top-10 prospect, offensive tackle … Continue reading Morning Buzz: USC Can Still Land A Top Lineman (It Hopes)
